Interior Painting

Interior Painting Services in Ontario

Interior painting is the fastest way to change how a home feels, and it is also the easiest job to get wrong. A rushed crew that skips sanding, caulking and priming will leave you with roller marks, bleed-through at the trim line and a finish that starts failing inside two years. BrightLook Paintings Inc treats preparation as the majority of the work, because it is.

We paint occupied homes across Ontario every week, so our process is built around living in the space while we work. Floors and furniture are covered before a single can is opened, edges are cut in by hand rather than taped-and-hoped, and the site is cleaned at the end of each day rather than at the end of the project.

Every interior job includes a written scope, a fixed price agreed before we start, and a walkthrough at the end where you mark anything you want corrected. Nothing gets invoiced until you have signed off on that list.

What It Costs

Typical interior painting cost in Ontario

$2 – $6 per sq ft

The range depends on ceiling height, surface condition, how many colours are involved and how much repair work the walls need. Dark-to-light colour changes and heavy drywall repair sit at the top of the range. Your written estimate is free and fixed.

Interior Painting — Common Questions

How much does interior painting cost in Ontario?

+

Interior painting in Ontario typically runs $2 to $6 per square foot. The variables that move the price are ceiling height, the condition of the existing surfaces, the number of colours, and whether trim and doors are included. BrightLook Paintings Inc provides a free written estimate with a fixed price, so you know the cost before any work starts.

How long does interior painting take?

+

A standard three-bedroom home interior takes one to three days. Single rooms are usually done in a day. Projects that need extensive drywall repair, wallpaper removal or multiple coats for a big colour change take longer, and we give you the exact timeline in writing with your estimate.

Can I stay in my home while you paint?

+

Yes. We work room by room in occupied homes as a matter of course. We use low-VOC paints, ventilate as we go, contain dust during sanding, and clean the work area at the end of every day so the house stays livable throughout.

Do I need to move my own furniture?

+

No. We move and cover furniture as part of the job. We ask only that you clear small items, valuables, electronics and anything fragile before we arrive, and we handle the rest.

Do you repair walls before painting?

+

Yes, and it is included. Nail holes, cracks, dents and previous patch work are filled, sanded flush and spot-primed before any finish coat goes on. Larger drywall damage is quoted separately only if it needs new board.
