Almost every epoxy floor that peels, bubbles, or flakes off in sheets within a year or two failed for the same reason — the concrete underneath was never properly opened up before the coating went down. Paint-on epoxy kits from a hardware store sit on top of a sealed surface and eventually let go under a hot tire or a dropped tool. A coating that’s meant to last works completely differently.
We start by mechanically grinding the concrete with diamond tooling to open the surface pores so the coating actually bonds into the slab instead of sitting on top of it. Cracks, pits and control joints are filled and levelled, then a base coat goes down, followed by a full broadcast of colour flakes if that’s the finish you want, and sealed under an industrial-grade clear topcoat that carries the wear.
We check the slab for moisture, cracks and existing coatings, then give you a clear written quote based on the actual condition of your concrete.
